The miniature sheet was issued by the St. Gabriel's Foundation for the benefit of the catholic College's in Ubonratchathani. The issue was sold only at that college and the sale proceeds will be used to renovate the classrooms
The small sheet above shows the coat of arms of St. Gabriel's Foundation and carries the banner impression: Brothers of St. Gabriel "LABOR - Work", "OMNIA - All", "VINCIT - Victories"
Illustrating an-oil paint by Mr. Remi Mel (in 1960) describing the scene of appointing missionaries in 1659. They were assigned to propagate Christ´s doctrines in Asia and later held the Synod of Ayutthaya (Siam) in 1664. As a result, the Mission of Siam was founded in Ayutthaya and Christianity was later established in Thailand. Alongside is the present St. Joseph´s Catholic Church, the third edifice, built on the site where Christianity started in Thailand
